My friend referred them to me. He said they were really kind when he had to put his dog down and they are really good with his new puppy. So I took my blind, sick kitty to them. I went hoping I could just get some amoxicillin and make him all better. But a part of me knew it was too late for that. Too much damage was done in the month that he was sick. I created a GoFundMe for him and, thanks to friends all over the world, was able to get him in. Hannah is so sweet and caring. She was gentle and didn't terrify my skittish blind boy. Doc was very straight forward about the possibilities and approximate costs of tests that would need to be done to find out exactly what's wrong and then know what treatment would be necessary. When it came right down to it, my boy was miserable, 15 years old and wouldn't likely be really ok again to buy him 3 more years of life. So I made the hard decision and had him put down. They asked if I wanted to there for it. Yes, it's hard, especially the first time. But this wasn't my first time and I needed to be with him to comfort him. It wouldn't do to have his last moments with strangers and mama nowhere to be seen. They asked how I wanted to the after stuff done. Hannah brought in a little blankie for him and I was given time alone with him. I propped the door open, propped myself in the corner of the couch with my boy on my chest. The doc came and told me what each shot does. Munchkin went quickly. He was out of pain. They all signed a sweet card with his paw print on it and Hannah even gave me a hug before I left. Coming home is hard. But I thank my friend for telling me about this place and I would highly recommend them. Even though the outcome was difficult, these people are really the best I've met in Utah County. Thank you to the doc and Hannah and to all the sweet folks who wrote all those kind words in the card ♥️ Yes, I'm long winded. But I have to share it all so you really understand 😉
