Pain can show up in many different ways. If you notice any of these symptoms of pain, it is recommended to schedule an exam with your veterinarian.

  • Limping
  • Excessive licking
  • Hiding
  • Unusual aggressive behavior
  • Slow to move
  • No longer jumping on furniture/in the car
  • Inappetence
  • Increased vocalization
  • Panting
  • Pacing/unable to get comfortable
  • Any other unusual behaviors

Ultimately, you know your pet best. If you feel your pet is uncomfortable, trust your instincts and schedule an exam with your veterinarian.

Had an emergency visit for a sick kitten. The team was super welcoming and awaiting our arrival after calling in advance. Treated our kitten as well as we could have hoped for, and provided recommendations on what to look out for rather than recommending all tests up front. Really appreciate their help checking up on our kitten to make sure we got her healthy.

I am a first time puppy owner and our pup was due for shots right when got him so we were looking for an animal hospital that was quality, affordable, informative/helpful (since this is our first time!) and could get us in quickly. We called around to a lot of places and Canyon View Cares/ Ribbonwood was by far the most helpful on the phone. They were scheduled out a few weeks and we were willing to wait, but then they called us back saying they would try to fit us in so our pup wouldn’t have to get extra shots later! When we got there the doctor and technicians were so kind and made our puppy so comfortable when he was nervous. They really care about the pets and definitely have their best interest in mind!

Their lady vet is amazing. She always makes my dogs feel comfortable while caring for them and is great at informing me as we go. She listens and takes my concerns into consideration when helping me decide what's best for my dogs. We love it there because of her.
